This is the sign that hung in the window when we moved in!

They moved down the street we moved in.

(My Dad did most of the wall moving, thanks Dad!)

So we decided it was time to bring over the coffee cart.

We sanded and patched the walls. Richard, Michele, and Taube helped. Hooray for friends!

And painted..and painted..and painted. More help from Richard and Michele.

Also during this time we were scraping linoleum and glue off the floor. We killed a lot of brain cells and it took a very long time. 
 

We do not have pictures of this it could be because we were so high on fumes that we forgot. Or we are hoping to forget how much work it really was.

After all the scraping was done we washed the floors
Gurusimrin rocks! He brought his power washer over. Julian helped more too (but we are not sure what he is doing here).

Julian ground down the chunks of metal sticking out of the floor. (Note - the floors were dry)

Ten days have passed and here we are First Friday!
