Three super bands on Flytrap Records stopping by The Trunk Space after SXSW!
Janelane: Garage pop from Los Angeles, CA. Heavily inspired by the jangle of 60s pop (The Ronettes, The Beatles, The Monkees, Sonny and Cher) and the melancholy-laden nostalgia of 90s alternative rock (Dear Nora, The Sundays, Pavement, The Muffs, that dog.), lead singer and songwriter, Sophie Negrini, began recording demos in her bedroom and posting them online at 16 years old. LA Weekly listed Janelane as one of “10 L.A. Artists to Watch in 2017”, describing Negrini as “a witty songwriter with a gift for ear worm melodies” and “a precociously poised live performer.”
Caterwall: Indie dream-pop from Pomona, CA.
Whaja Dew: High energy fuzz, from LA.
Plus...just added! The Paranoyds: Punk wing dong gaze porn pop cop chop proto shoes progs clogs hogs fuzzy wuzzy soaked hugs and slugs...from LA.
