This Frontier Needs Heroes / Marissa Sendejas / Pennyfarthing Gang / Chatterbox and the Latter Day Satanists / Sola Fide / Nocturnal North

This Frontier Needs Heroes: Alt-folk duo Brad and Jessica Lauretti from Brooklyn, NY. Listening to their music is like having Brad and Jessica play in your backyard while the sun comes up. With their powerful delivery and delicate harmonies, their music is full of idealistic lyrical stories of love, loss, and longing for a better world.

Their latest album, Hooky, recorded in the summer of 2012 on 2 inch analog tape at Dr. Dog’s studio in Philadelphia with the help of Loveland Recording’s Nathan Sabatino, was made with the contribution of a full band, making Hooky their most richly realized and, yes, hookiest album to date. It evokes the full complexity of the human experience while it shines and shimmers like the sun off of those end of summer waves. “Their music ranges from simply arranged, heartbreaking ballads to raucous foot-tappers, complete with rambling electric guitar solos and handclaps...both call to mind vast and often desolate American landscapes.” - All Songs Considered

Plus special guests...great folk-punks on tour together from Colorado! Marissa Sendejas (from Days N Daze), Pennyfarthing Gang, and Chatterbox and the Latter Day Satanists.

And locals Sola Fide and Nocturnal North
